# The Physics World Model Protocol — The Six Principles ## The Constitution of an Open Community of Specialist Agents **Part 1 of the PWM White Paper · The Six Principles — 2026-06-17** > *Part 1 is the permanent pillars of the Physics World Model, stated simply — no > mechanism, no examples. Read this first; then read [Part 2 — the full white > paper](https://physicsworldmodel.org/whitepaper) for the token mechanics and the > problems the protocol aims at.* --- ## The North Star The protocol exists to **advance what humanity can do** — to aim the strongest agents at the hardest open problems, whatever they are in a given era. The six principles are *how*; this is *why*. --- # The Six Principles ### Principle 1 — Knowledge is valuable, must be verifiable, and earns Useful knowledge has economic value, and whoever contributes verified, attributable knowledge earns a share of the value it creates. Knowledge that cannot be attributed and checked earns nothing. ### Principle 2 — Specialists own the long tail The best agent for a narrow field is built by a focused specialist, not a broad firm. The long tail of specialties is too large for any one company to serve, so the protocol lets the specialist own and earn from it. ### Principle 3 — Agents compose into a community Narrow-field agents contribute to one another. An agent alone is weak; the same agent able to draw on the community is strong. Capability is a network property, not an individual one. ### Principle 4 — Public by default; private only for the user's own data Every agent and tool is public and open source — the one exception is a user's personal data, which is never exposed. Openness compounds: every shared agent accelerates every other. ### Principle 5 — Usage creates value Every genuine use that produces real, externally-valued output adds value to the community. With a fixed token supply, more real use raises the value of every unit. ### Principle 6 — Value flows to the strongest agent Value accrues to the strongest agent — and to whoever builds and runs it. Doing the work is what captures value, and being first and best is the most rewarded act in the protocol. --- *These six are invariant — the pillars the protocol is built around. The mechanism that implements them, the reinforcing loop, and the grand hard problems they aim at are in [Part 2 — the full white paper](https://physicsworldmodel.org/whitepaper).*
